MEETING POINT

The meeting point is at the Rivière-Sens marina, near Basse-Terre.
Boulevard Amédée Valeau
97113 Gourbeyre.
The boat is moored at the dock in front of the Quai 7 pharmacy (slightly to the left when facing away from it). Lastly, parking is easy and free.

PAYMENT METHOD

On line booking, Bank transfer, Cash in Euros 48 hours prior.
Credit Cards on the phone or through a payement link.

WHAT TO BRING ON A DAY TOUR ?

Swimwear and a towel.
Sunscreen and sunglasses.
Hat or cap.
Camera or smartphone for photos.
A light rain jacket or poncho can be useful just in case.
Snorkeling gear if you have your own.
Personal medications if needed.

WHAT TO BRING ON A CRUISE ?

Wear clothes that are durable, easy to clean, and provide sun protection.
A windbreaker, t-shirts, one sweater (max), shorts, swimsuits, and a BATH TOWEL.
Sunglasses, a secure-fitting cap, high-SPF sunscreen.
A lycra swim shirt, after-sun lotion, and a BATH TOWEL.
All personal belongings should fit into one or two soft bags.
Optional: earplugs, USB chargers (no 220V on board), mosquito spray if staying overnight at the port.
Snorkeling gear if you have your own.

WEATHER

Sailing is generally possible even during the hurricane season. However, as with any outdoor excursion, always plan ahead by bringing a waterproof jacket (KW) and a light windbreaker or a change of clothes.

BABIES, GRANNIES AND GRANDPAS

Babies, as well as grandpas and grandmas, are welcome! However, parents with babies should feel confortable with the sea, their bodies, and the sensations. As for the grandparents, they should have a bit of an adventurous spirit!

REVE DE NAV’ HISTORY

Rêve de Nav’ is an entrepreneurial adventure of a couple started in Guadeloupe in 2011. Olivier is the skipper and sailing teacher, he manages the website and makes homemade marmelades and rhum punches ! Fully licensed captain and teacher, Olivier and he’s skipper are fully competent to guide you. Sonia, stays ashore and deals with communication, sells, developpement, accounting, menus and groceries ! We hire each year a skipper from the fews of high season.

All together we make sure l’Inko, our Jeanneau Sun Fast 37 stays in perfect sailing conditions : Sails, bimini, rigging, mechanics, electricity, paint jobs etc…Of course we some times need to require help from specialists !
